Preparing for a safe return with Cancun Safety Protocols
Travelers are anxious to get out of the house and enjoy some fun in the sun. We’ve been working hard on our Cancun safety protocols to make sure you have safe travels and a fantastic photoshoot. Many people have mixed emotions about returning to their daily lives and we’d like to help make you feel good about your decision to come and see us.
In early 2020 the COVID-19 global pandemic quickly swept over our little planet and caused us all to take a long pause. In order to slow the spread of the virus while we search for a vaccine and effective treatments, many citizens had to go on some form of lockdown or quarantine across the globe. Now, as we cautiously yet optimistically start to get back out into the world, we are met with a new normal full of safety regulations.
First, we’d like to thank our customers for trusting us with their most treasured memories. We know that you’ve been anxiously waiting for your wedding day, marriage proposals, family portraits, babymoons, honeymoon sessions and other epic life moments to be captured with expert photography. Now, we’ll take a moment to walk you through all the safety protocols we will be following to make sure you can get your photoshoot done safely. We will be adhering to advise from the World Health Organization, The CDC, and local officials.
#1. It Starts With Education
Our owners and staff have taken online courses to educate ourselves on how this virus spreads and how best to mitigate the risk for ourselves and our customers as we reopen.
#2. Sanitizing Everything
We have cleaned and sanitized all of our equipment and shared spaces. We will continue to do this between customers and make surfaces as safe as possible.
#3. Hand Washing
Hand washing is a simple yet highly effective way of stopping the spread of any virus, including the coronavirus. Wash your hands frequently and do not touch your face. Keeping your hands away from your eyes and mouth is essential.
#4. Mask Wearing
Mask wearing comes naturally for some and is a struggle for others. We have decided that mask-wearing is an important tool to keep our customers and staff safe and will be required at all times. According to the WHO, wearing a mask reduces the risk of transmission.
#5. Social Distancing – 2 Meters Apart
You’re probably getting tired of hearing the words “social distancing” by now, but it’s going to be around for some time. While this virus is still out there lurking, it’s important to stay at least 2 meters or 6 feet away from anyone who doesn’t live in your home.
We hope these safety protocols will help you feel like it’s the right time to take your trip to Cancun and have your social distancing photoshoot with us at Cancun Studios. We look forward to seeing you and helping you capture the joy of the moment in a safe and responsible manner.
